Individual Responsibility

As a responsible and legal gun owner, we take very seriously the responsibility to make sure that our guns never get into the hands of those who cannot or should not be allowed to possess a firearm. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, properly locking up your firearms when you’re not home (safe, lock-box, locked closet, trigger lock, gun lock, etc), knowing where your guns are at all times, restricting access to your gun for all unattended children and any adults who are otherwise prohibited possessors, notifying the local police department in case any weapons are stolen/missing in an unexplained manner, etc.
